How do I>>open forum to latest post

Is there a way so that when logging into the forum and clicking a threat to have it open to the latest unread post.  Currently mine always opens to the first page.  Is this the default behaiver or do I have a cookie issue?

First go to your profile, then modify profile, then look & layout & then check show most recent post at the top....

That's a big help but only half way there.  I was hoping (dreaming?) to have it show the latest unread (by me) post.
I'm on another forum that does this, it's rather nice.

Well I haven't found that yet... but here's what I do that's close...

When you click on the forum tab, scroll down & all the recent post are there (newest on top)... But it doesn't show if you've read it or not...

Maybe someone else can chime in if that's available... I'm following too...

If you are asking how to set a shortcut on your desktop to the latest post...

• Right click a blank area on your Windows PC desktop.
• click "New" then "shortcut".
• Paste this URL into the location prompt:  https://www.eaglersnest.com/forum/index.php?action=unread
• click next
• name it
