Uncovered wings
« on: August 13, 2014, 04:34:42 AM »
I am looking for anyone who has a wing completed except for covering that I can get a close look at.  I have some confusion about how everything goes together and seeing one in person would really help. Anyone within a days drive from North Arkansas would be great.

I'm in Memphis. My uncovered wings are in the cradle. I've just started on the fuselage after taking a few months off. I have plenty of photos you could look at, or you could come by and visit. Send me a message if you want to come by.

Jim, I also have my wings built but not covered. Jerry would be closer to you than me though. I also have taken a lot of pictures. I have been wondering how you were coming on your wing since I try to keep up with your progress. My progress has been slow lately. Life seems to get it the way. I am working 56 hours a week right now. It dosen't leave much time for building. I think I still have your phone number. I'll try to call you this afternoon when I get home from work.

Memphis is certainly doable. I have been looking for a reason to take a road trip.
Work has gotten in my way too. I do oil field machining  and it is pretty busy right now.
I have all the ribs completed and getting ready to make the landing gear.

Jim, I tried to call you several times yesterday evening but all I got was a bissy signal. I'll try again this afternoon.
