Testing and test hoppd my XL last night and still after 1 hour of run time my oil temp still hardly off peg at 100 degrees. The temp port is on the side lower area of the oil sump at lower right when facing the engine. (Mosler 37 hp) Does the temp go up that much when flying around at 3000 rpm? I have a long way to go to 160-180 degrees.
Thinking of maybe an aluminum pan to cover bottom couple inches of oil sump, read that someplace to boost temps I think.
Any ideas
