butt joint
« on: December 13, 2014, 05:37:04 AM »
Hi
I made a mistake by cutting the spar plywood for XL C 95 actually I got a guidance from Mr:Steve even though I made mistake

I used the 96" full length and the rest of it 58" so it is not so logic that i  think I don't know HOW TO RESOLVE  this problem as the

length of the spar strips are 58" and 96'' is some one can help me ?

Pradeep ,

Put a 3/4"x3/4" block centered over the butt joint if it is not at a rib station, glue on spar web plywood and cover that with a glued 1/8"x 2" plywood plate centered over the joint...
