Forgot to add.  We covering with stits poly process.  Not sure what the final coat will be yet. will prolly match the color and paint of the wings so that we dont have to repaint them

Man it gets cold in the hangar.  Got home and in the shower ran $50 of hot water down the drain till my toes got stablized

its been cold in mine. no heat. worked all one day and the high in there got up to 38. its normally about 45-50. mostly wear gloves. slow go.

Heading north today I passed  POLAR BEAR heading your way Professor.

I guess this -10 Degrees wind chill is just too much for em.

The worse part is when it turns 55 and Rainy. All my equipment sweats, and rusts. Not a Happy feeling.

Looks like ya'll are making good progress on your planes. How is the cold affecting the covering process? I am almost to the point of covering mine. I need to come up and watch ya'll and learn how it's done. Do ya'll just work on Thursday nights?

We got one a them jet engine lookin things torchin hot air at us adding to the poly fiber fumes and creating a comfortable environment to work in.....probably sorta dangerous too with all them fumes and open flame. DONT TRY THIS AT HOME

So far we have been doing it only on Thur. night but talking around about changing the date.  I will try to keep ya up on it.

Was cold yesterday man. flew the biplane for about 1 hr giving rides.  the hi was 32.    Lured Sheila into takin a ride plane did great. She did too but was not impressed with the temperature

I had a wood fire stove burning in my garage almost the entire spraying process....... Never once got a hollywood explosion. Just lotsa YELLOW overspray on everything.
