New Feature on "Home" page
« on: September 15, 2015, 05:37:58 PM »
Revolver map displays a permanent red dot on the globe for every visitor.

It displays a banner with state and city for recent visits...

You can stop it or drag it around with the mouse, drag the rotation faster or slower, and re-size it.

 Check it out here.

Screen down to the last page on the Forum tab...
The Globe shows you and others on-line...
Click on the Globe Tag and you get a menu system to go 2 or 3D...
It's called Revolver Maps - Dan picked it off the net, I always look at the recent posts just above it in the Forum too...

In 2D this is a screen print of me and a person up the coast on-line at the same time:

That's a pretty nifty graphic device.   Looks really slick.   Question:   Where did you find it and is it available to use in like Win PhotoViewer or with Photoshop?

John,  I saw it on one of the Canard sites...  It is free for anyone to use on just about any web site.

The help on it is "straight forward" shall we say.  It is here: https://www.revolvermaps.com/?target=faq

To get an image into a viewer or editor you will have to take a "screen shot" like the one below I did in the "snip" feature on win7...  Looks fine but not the highest of resolution.  Photo shop likes high res...

The pic below (also attached) is one with the dots set to show bars on each dot the height of which corresponding to the time spent by visitors from that spot...

You just click on the link under the globe on our forum page and choose what you want to see...  It takes some fiddling I guess...

Enjoy..!
